Introduction and scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Q-Mission Corp (“Q-Mission”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit www.qmission.net or contact us through it (the “Website”). It should be read together with our Website Terms and Conditions.
This Policy applies only to the Website. It does not apply to the ForceGen platform, which is available only to organizations under a separate written agreement with Q-Mission.
Platform data is handled under contract. Personal information processed within the ForceGen platform, including user accounts, training activity, assessments, and Q-Scores, is governed by the agreement between Q-Mission and the customer organization and by the policies referenced in it. If you are a platform user, please contact your organization’s administrator with questions about that data.
Information we collect
2.1Information you provide
When you contact us or request a demo through the Website, we collect the information you choose to submit, such as your name, work email address, organization, job title or role, phone number, and the content of your message.
2.2Information collected automatically
When you visit the Website, our systems automatically record technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, the pages you visit, the referring page, and the date and time of your visit. We use this information to operate, secure, and maintain the Website.
2.3Do not submit sensitive or controlled information
Please do not send classified information, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), export-controlled technical data, or sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, financial account details, or health information) through the Website. We do not request this information and the Website is not designed to receive it.
How we use information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- to respond to your inquiries and demo requests, and to follow up on them;
- to evaluate and discuss a potential business relationship with your organization;
- to operate, maintain, and improve the Website;
- to protect the security and integrity of the Website and our systems, including detecting and preventing unauthorized access or misuse;
- to comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do not use the information you submit to send newsletters or marketing campaigns. We contact you only in relation to your request. If this changes, we will update this Policy and give you a simple way to opt out of marketing communications.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Website uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to function properly and securely, such as remembering your language preference. If we introduce analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this Policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent first.
You can set your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how some parts of the Website work. Because there is no common industry standard for “Do Not Track” signals, the Website does not currently respond to them.
How we share information
We share personal information only in the following situations:
- Service providers: with companies that host the Website or provide email and similar services on our behalf. They may use the information only to provide those services to us.
- Legal reasons: when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Q-Mission, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this Policy.
- With your consent: in any other case where you have asked or agreed for us to share it.
We do not sell your personal information. Q-Mission does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Data retention
We keep contact and demo request information for up to 24 months after our last communication with you, unless a longer period is needed for an ongoing business relationship or required by law. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operational purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the state where you live, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we hold about you and request a copy of it;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- request that we delete your personal information;
- appeal our decision if we decline your request.
